1.12-1.7GHz WR-650 WAVEGUIDE LOAD

 

  • Minimal signal reflection

  • Low VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio)

  • Protection of sensitive transmitter components

 

  1. Port Termination:
    Connect the flanged input of the WAVEGUIDE LOAD directly to an unused waveguide port, circulator port, or directional coupler port. Ensure the flange type (e.g., UG, CPR, cover, choke) matches the system.

  2. Power Handling Consideration:
    Select a WAVEGUIDE LOAD with average power rating exceeding the maximum expected power. For pulsed systems, verify peak power capability.

  3. Cooling Requirement:

    • Low‑power WAVEGUIDE LOAD → natural air cooling.

    • Medium‑power → forced air cooling (e.g., built‑in fan).

    • High‑power → water‑cooled WAVEGUIDE LOAD with circulating deionized water.

  4. Installation Orientation:
    Some high‑power WAVEGUIDE LOAD must be mounted with the fins vertical to optimize convection. Always follow the datasheet of that specific WAVEGUIDE LOAD.

  5. Verification:
