75-80GHz WR-12 WAVEGUIDE CIRCULATOR

 

  • Broadband operation (multi‑octave possible)
  • High transmitter‑receiver isolation
  • Reduces system complexity compared to duplexers

 

  1. Port assignment
    A WAVEGUIDE CIRCULATOR must have its three ports clearly identified: input, output, and isolated port.

  2. Signal input connection
    Connect the transmitter or signal source to port 1 of the WAVEGUIDE CIRCULATOR.

  3. Load connection
    Connect the antenna or main transmission path to port 2 of the WAVEGUIDE CIRCULATOR.

  4. Termination of isolated port
    Always terminate the isolated port (port 3) of a WAVEGUIDE CIRCULATOR with a WAVEGUIDE LOAD to absorb reflected power.

  5. Flange matching
    A WAVEGUIDE CIRCULATOR requires the same flange type (UG, CPR, cover, or choke) as the rest of the waveguide system.
