Product Description

75-80GHz WR-12 WAVEGUIDE ISOLATOR

 

  • High reverse isolation (typically 20–30 dB)
  • Built‑in internal termination (no external load needed)
  • Improved source match and VSWR
  1. Identify the forward direction
    A WAVEGUIDE ISOLATOR is marked with an arrow or label indicating the allowed transmission direction.

  2. Connect source to input port
    Connect the signal source (e.g., magnetron, amplifier, or oscillator) to the input port of the WAVEGUIDE ISOLATOR.

  3. Connect load to output port
    Connect the antenna, transmission line, or measurement device to the output port of the WAVEGUIDE ISOLATOR.

  4. **Never reverse a WAVEGUIDE ISOLATOR
    A WAVEGUIDE ISOLATOR will severely attenuate (typically >20 dB) if connected in reverse; it must be installed in the correct orientation.

  5. Flange matching
    A WAVEGUIDE ISOLATOR requires the same flange type (UG, CPR, cover, or choke) as the adjacent waveguide components.

  6. Power rating verification
    Before operating a WAVEGUIDE ISOLATOR, verify both its average power and peak power handling capabilities.

  7. No external termination needed
